Hi Everyone! I am so grateful for this new journey. Made for Newness.

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here!”

Through this blog, I pray that there can be edification, the direction of the Holy Spirit, freedom, laughter, tears, new mindsets, community, and so much more. There’s a verse in the Bible that I love; it is in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4… “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” Oh how this verse has come alive in so many of our lives. Despite the enemy, God is still using what the enemy meant for evil and turning for good time and time again. What a good Father with great restorative love written all over our lives.

This is the gospel… this is the good news. To love and be loved. While we are living in this world, awaiting Jesus’ return and for every tear to be wiped away, for Eden to be restored, we will have trouble. But, the beauty of it all is that God put on flesh to walk with His people, to show us how to love, how to comfort, how to invite. We have the greatest example of love. We GET to share in His suffering on this side of heaven. Some of the toughest seasons in my life have birthed the sweetest revelations of God and of His heart for people. Through pain, heartbreak, loss, rejection, it is a deeper invitation… because Jesus, too, experienced that all. And what He endured was well worth it to Him for what we all have access to now.

I hope this is a space for drawing near, for seeking, for intimacy with God; to grow in community, have Bible studies and zooms, in-person events, and just see where it goes. I have always loved writing, learning, and telling stories and I have felt nudges from God for awhile. So, here we are…
